451 Research: Information Security Executive Summit

Last week, I attended the 451 Research Information Security Executive Summit (thanks @j4vv4d for the invite).

Some good information from the presentations and seminars. I especially enjoyed the round-table discussions - always good to speak to your peers about common problems and solutions.

I always like learning new things

One of the more interesting/memorable sessions (for me) was from Trend Micro on the different types of malware. Describing the speed with which malware proliferates as soon as a vulnerability is announced. Also, the scale of malware targeting Android (in the millions) versus the iOS (in the low thousands) - primarily due to the number and versions of Androids available. Quite a few other things that I'd never appreciated or considered.

I'll add more as soon as the presentations are released.
